Agen

I did nothing

For me it has been a day of utter idleness - all I have done is lie on the bed resting my ankle.  It feels so much better so in a little while we will go out for dinner and will press on tomorrow

Ken has buzzed around.  This morning he found a bike shop and the miracle man there was able to fix his stand and he has a new bell.  He brought me lots of yummy food and has taken a few photos around the town  I will share these with you and they will be just as new to me as to you

Tricia GrahamNo the bridge was fine as long as you walked - much better than the alternatives. We are now sitting waiting for 4pm outside the same b and b you two stayed in in Mas d’Argenais

We hobbled out for a meal and I got to see the beautiful city centre, some of which I will see by bike tomorrow,  The first restaurant seemed a bit up market to us and we realised we would have to not only mortgage our house but also any other things we owned.  It was only about two minutes embarrassment to walk out.  The  next place we found was perfect and the food delicious - both of us felt only like salads Ken had a seafood one and mine was of hot goat cheese   My sister says   that ‘The French make an art form of every day life’. She is right you could never have seen anything as beautiful as those two salads
