Day -4 of TEMBR

San Gerenimo (3300 ft) a La Merced de Buenos Aires (7400 ft) in 20.5 miles

I woke up early and had a full breakfast as we were supposed to find nothing along our way to La Merced de Buenos Aires. It turned out that there are no tiendas o restaurantes.

Colombia has trained us well as we gained elevation without much huffing and puffing. Beautiful bosque, fincas de cafe and tonnes of unharvested mandarinos. Most of the day it was unusually hot while it rained only for a bit.

After hitting close to 8300 ft, we started bajada ride to Buenos Aires.

We could see Buenos Aires tucked away in the montanas..
