Day -1 of Week 2 of TEMBR
Week -2, Day-1: Otavalo (8300) a Guallabamba (7100) but after hitting a high of 12500 ft.
We hit the road early, say 7am. The "famous" suvida to Laguna Mojanda was empedrado and scenery was beautiful. Saw a few snow topped peaks but Azul cielo all the way. Laguna was beautiful and not many otra perdonas. A km or so before, this Colombian family from Manizales stopped and asked if we needed agua. They gave us 2 botlellas de agua. Chevre.

After peaking the 12500ft we rode down to Chusqui and unexpected decided to go off TEMBR route. We ended up visiting Archeological Parc and saw how Piramides y otra cool structures.
Then we were so fed up with Enpedrado calles we were glad to be on Pan-American until we weren't. We safely made it to Guallabamba for the night.
