Bye Bye PEI to New Brunswick

We’re headed to Port Elgin NB

One more day on the Confederation Trail. John and I have really enjoyed this trail. Over the past four rides we rode 94 miles of it

Ride to Montague. 4 miles

Ride to Charlottetown. 65 miles

Ride to Cavendish 14 miles

Ride to bridge off PEI. 11 miles

The other 37 miles today were also good. Good roads, good scenery, and good weather ( some sun, some great, and mid fifties). Also interesting shuttle ride across four mile bridge from PEI to New Brunswick. No bikes or pedestrians allowed so the park service shuttles. Route we took in New Brunswick was very rural, coastal with almost no traffic. The weather got worse. The motel is on a point of land - wild and windy but a nice motel. Nancy put together a microwave dinner. I was the sous chef.
