Waterport to Palmyra

Next morning we headed out in drizzle that continued on and off the entire day.  We were going to stay in Palmyra that evening. We cycled through the community of Clarkson and Brockport. We pulled over under a bridge in Ogden for some lunch. With the poor weather we did not do any sightseeing as planned.

After lunch we got off of the Erie trail because we were sinking into the crushed stone trail because of the rain. Google maps guided us on some beautiful backroads free of traffic.  We returned to the trail near Rochester where it became paved again. After the paved section in Pittsford, the trail turned to crushed stone and muddy.  So we were once again on the road again!

We stayed at the Thomas Galloway House at Parragon Farms. I felt like I was transported to an English countryside complete with sheep, barns, and farm fields.  The inside of the house was furnished with antiques and  beautifully decorated bedrooms. That evening an old friend of mine, Geri. S picked up and took us out to dinner in town.
