To Saint Maxamin
We biked to the train station after a late start and a somewhat mediocre breakfast at the hotel. Once there, I panicked when I couldn't find the train tickets and then hurriedly biked back to the hotel to see if I had left them there (I hadn't) and returned to the train station for a more thorough and this time successful search.
The ride to Ste Maximin was pretty, very hot, and fairly uneventful. The town itself didn't seem all that attractive to us, being overrun by heavy traffic and motor scooters. We found a nice room for the night however and enjoyed a good pizza dinner afterwards. One interesting feature of the day: we had a lunch break in Carces, visiting with another, rather unorthodox cole on their first cycling tour - he is an art dealer/psychology student, and she an international router/Chinese herbalist.
Today's ride: 40 miles (64 km)
Total: 40 miles (64 km)
