Our last day in London before heading off to Kent.
We had made plans to meet some old friends from South Africa at a pub in Soho at noon but set off for the center of London quite early. This meant we were able to take a walk down to St James Park via Piccadilly Circus before meeting up with them.
At noon we got together with Geoff, Justin and Kathy at the Crown and Two Chairmen. We had worked together twenty to thirty years ago and had attended each others weddings. We had last seen Geoff when he had stayed with us at Schoenmakerskop about five years ago and Justin and Kathy when they visited their daughter and family in Port Elizabeth about two years ago so there was a lot of catching up to do.

After that it was back to Canary Wharf and an early night. The ride starts tomorrow!
