Against rain and wind
2nd day - horrible weather
When you wake up in the morning and the first thing you hear is rain pouring on the roof. Usually I love this sound but thats not what you wanna hear when on a bike tour. Can you change it? No.
So, the app was right. We had the rain straight in our face allday long. We didnt see too much of the landscape. The only thing we kept saying was: „Tomorrow will be better, haha.“
Short story short. We had a very warm welcome at the bed n breakfast in Yvonand. There was a nice pool outside but the weather was still shit. We‘ll jump in tomorrow morning, promise!
The lady who‘s running this boutique bnb even washed our laundry! (While Dan was taking a nap without snoring)
The Pastis in the evening proved that we are in the french part of Switzerland. The fish was delicious, the Grappa top notch. Tomorrow will be the hottest day of the week, my only concern is: Will my battery do it up the hills till Jura? It will - otherwise will drink Absinth till its recharged.
