Back to Fukuoka to escape the cold; 12th March
Slept through torrential rain. One the campsite staff had offered his tarp the night before to protect the tent, which we took him up on.
Unfortunately the drainage of the camp spot wasn’t sufficient and all the rain that came off the tarp just pooled under the tent which meant we essentially slept in a puddle. Thankfully there was only a small amount of seepage into the tent itself.
With the bad weather, we decided to head back to Fukuoka with the intention of going to Goto island, for less traffic and better weather.
