Side trip to Cooperstown

As the title shows, today included a trip to Cooperstown. The primary reason was to go to the National Baseball Hall of Fame Museum. I had reserved a rental car which we picked up in the morning and we were on our way.

I am posting just a few assorted photos from the Museum. A lot of history, trivia, statistics, etc.

One smaller room had a few paintings. This one is well known and I enjoyed seeing it in person.

Rose's thoughts:

Bicycles and Baseball I knew there was a connection!! Lol

I like Baseball, but I love the enthusiasm of the mascots!

Midway through the Hall of Fame is a 13 minute movie that will bring you to tears. We stopped for lunch at Doubleday Cafe.

Doubleday Cafe Greek burger with sweet potato fries for Kim. Roasted(canned) Beet salad for me.

The streets of Cooperstown were li ed with these amazing red Ivy Geraniums. So gorgeous!!

We arrived back at the hotel, I did laundry while Kim worked on routing. Then I grabbed dinner at a small Italian spot near the hotel. House salad and Chicken Riggies! It was a good day!

Tomorrow we ride!
