We estimate the ride will take about three weeks. The only hard deadline is to arrive in Deniliquin by 29 March in time to attend an event to launch the scholarship fund we are riding to raise sponsorship for. That’s about 500km in a week, so should be doable if the autumn weather holds.

We’ll also have a day or two break in Melbourne to visit relatives. Both Joel and I have adult children living and working in Melbourne. 

My wife is planning to meet me there.
Joel’s wife will meet him in Hobart.
