First rest day: And a tour of Rock Island State Park
Kim writes:
Originally built in 1836 to assist with navigation into Green Bay, the Pottawatomie Light is the oldest lighthouse in Wisconsin and the third oldest on Lake Michigan.

Today was like the perfect "day off." After breakfast with Doug and Pat, we pedaled unloaded bikes to catch a ferry to Rock Island State Park. Once on the island, we ate a picnic lunch, and then hiked out to tour the Pottawatomie lighthouse. We hiked back to the ferry landing, where we walked through the old boat house, and then caught the ferry back to Washington Island.
Tonight, we treated Doug and Pat and Zach to dinner at K.K. Fiske's as a way of saying "Thank you" for being great hosts. Kim and I had the whitefish... mmmmmm.
Today's ride: 7 miles (11 km)
Total: 153 miles (246 km)
