Resting - well flu induced.: 12.40 mi July 23rd total mi 1065.71 mi training
Well it seems we may have been training just a little to much. Jack is down (really down sleeping all day) with a flu and I seem to have a lower back ache. Mine just might be normal aches and pains you do not feel when your are ridding everyday. I remember when I used to do marathons and rested I hurt everywhere rest week so I am going to take this as a good sign and all will be well when we hit the road Aug 12th. We are just getting everything out of the way ahead of time.This photo goes with the title 'resting' Surly's after a long ride. Monterey marina - we were enjoying a much deserved hamburger. We crave one about every other month. This picture was taken awhile back. No front bags...bike looks empty. Will try to get new pictures this week.
