Camping in our new tent

We were so relieved to be able to camp wild and not offend anyone. Locals were up early walking through the park and they were unconcerned by our presence. It is a good thing.

Charmaine RuppoltI always tour with a tent, as it gives me the option of camping if need be - plus it saves a lot of money! :)

Our small tent package builds into a generous living space. A free standing tent is ideal as it can fit most anywhere.

Today, the terrain is pretty flat, but the headwind is fierce.

Riding straight into the wind. Today is feeling like the ride could be a bit of a grind.

We will turn around and find some pavement as the wind is tough enough to get through.

We rode around this town for quite a while searching for somewhere to charge our phones and bike batteries. Often convenience stores will have table and chairs to sit at and eat food from the store. They will also have electrical plugs for charging devices. Unfortunately, all the convenience stores lacked a seating area. We eventually found a large drug/grocery store where we could charge everything. We were able to buy some items that we needed. An hour later we were on our way.
