Day 8 Clifden to Westport
As awful as yesterday was today was exactly the opposite. It was sunny with mild winds and spectacular scenery. We were on very quiet roads where the greatest hazard was sheep on the road. We rode down both sides on the Killary Fjord where the water is a mixture of salt water and fresh water. It lies between 2 mountains (hills really) and is full of a wide variety of sea life. We are now in County Clare after leaving County Galway.
As usual I wandered around the town before breakfast and capture a few photos of Clifden. Our hotel tonight is between Westport harbour and the village of Westport itself.
