Day 7 - Bonked

Stopped in Skun

Previous hotel where I stayed and things went belly up. Oh well it was a great deal at $15

It must have been a combination of the yo-yo eating patterns due to inconsistent food on this route or something else that gave me a bug. Either way I was feeling sick to my stomach all day and couldn't manage to get very far. The town of Skun came up soon enough so I stopped early. It was barely noon but I had nothing in me left to give. Consequently, I found a guesthouse and just rested for over 20 hours straight. It would be a day's ride left to Phnom Penh after this in hopefully better conditions. This particular route was really kicking my ass. Next time if I did this I would just take the bus.

On a failed mission to find food at night again, have since learned places close early. This was all I could find, instant noodles and chicken rice.
