Viangthong to Samsoum
The first part of the ride was through beautiful protected forest. I saw a big owl, but it was very skittish.
The second part followed rivers for the most part. So the gradients were much better than the previous two days.
Open Street Map listed a guest house in a good location. But it no longer exits. Fortunately a high school boy greeted me in broken English. He offered that I could sleep in his dorm room, while he would sleep at a friend's house.
