Vijayadurg to Purnagad
I started about 45 minutes later than normal which meant I finished a lot later. After 12.00 I really slow down and need frequent stops.
Met a solo Indian rider from Mumbai heading South. He was staying in temples overnight for free and his luggage was just one ruck sac. He said he would ride after 5pm into the dark to stay cool. A brave man. He was planning to be on the road for 6 weeks.
After the predicted 20 miles I looked across the river to see where I had started from two hours earlier. It reminded me of a journey to Nepal where I flew to Dublin from Birmingham then took a flight to Delhi, and overflew my house in Nottinghamshire about 9 hours after I had left!
The Festival season is over but road paintings still survive.
I gave this restaurant a miss.
Sea shore track. Lots of monkeys around.
