Harnai
Last year when I cycled Southwards along this coast I passed inland of Harnai along the top of a steep ridge. I can remember finding a view point and looking down through the hear haze to the crowded village below.
This year I am looking upwards. On top of the ridge new boxes of concrete hotels have been built.
To get down to the coast would be a several mile journey each way on a steep road so no one would walk. I guess the hotels have swimming pools and cool AC and guests would spend most of their time there? A true divide. Probably the only thing the villagers below are gaining is sewerage. And big white electric cars causing gridlock with the busses…

I walked around the old Fort. It looked like it had been ignored for many years but was now being restored with new masonry.
Fish was being dried on nearby walls.
There is a strong Northerly wind blowing. It started at around 2pm. I have about 40 miles to ride Northwards tomorrow so will need to start early. Unfortunately a family arrived late and moved into the rooms around me…..noise until 2pm.
