Harihareshwar to Murud
On leaving Harihareshwar I could see signs of the start of the new highway: in places land had been levelled and a hillside cut through. So the monster may be coming. I do wonder what they are going to do with the nearby half built bridge with rusty steel reinforcements which the sea has been attacking?
Fast smooth tarmac so an easy ride although a Northerly wind for the last few miles. One ferry today, like this one.
Murud is a tourist town but today is Sunday so I am expecting the crowds to fade away. A beautiful empty rocky coastline South of Murud: Indian tourists seem to want sand.
