Day 10 - Peck Gulch CG to Elko British Columbia
Today we will cross the border! The road out of Peck Gulch is steep, so we pushed the bikes the half mile up the road to the highway. More nice views of the lake early on, then out into farmland and rolling hills toward Canada. Crossed the border with no delay and stopped about 10 miles further down the road at a small store for a cold drink and snack. We got to the intersection with Highway 3 sooner than expected and stopped at a roadside burger stand for lunch. We had done over 50 miles for the day, so we found an RV Park of sorts in nearby Elko and called it a day. Not much in scenery today and we had a few steep hills. The camping spot not so good but we are still feeling positive. Probably the six pack of Canadian Beer helped.
