A day in France. On this sunny Sunday there wasn't much traffic on the highway and that made for relaxed driving through a soothing green countryside of hills. It was nothing dramatic calling for wows, but it would have been delightful on a  bike. Chilly and windy, though, so maybe not so delightful.

This entry is just checking in to say all is well here. You're not really interested in our difficulties getting French gas pumps to work but it's all I have to tell. Well, they rejected our cards and didn't take cash. A little touch screen is trying to give us instructions which we finally figure out. We can  buy credit at another machine and then use the bar code on the receipt to get the gas to flow. The funny thing is we encountered the same situation on our way to Spain a month ago - and forgot!
