Day 19: WOO-HOOO!
Whoa, what a great day! It started with beautiful weather, and stayed that way for the duration. In fact, we were kind of glad we cut yesterday short, because we got to see more things in the sun.
We continued around Lake Geneva and moseyed our way around cute little towns. In one, where stopped for coffee, we saw the coolest clocks that reminded me of the game "mousetrap", where the ball would roll through different obstacles... Very clever.
Near the end of the day we got an interesting surprise, we rolled right past the UCI velodrome, where they not only had a small exhibit on the Tour de France, but the Australian Olympic team (we think) was just finishing up a training session. Too bad we couldn't have seen more of it. Still, the whole thing was a nice surprise.
We finished the day about 10 kilometers, or so, short of Sion and a really nice campgrounds.
