Still getting there - to Whitefish, MT - on Amtrak.  The train experience has been excellent the Empire Builder.  Sleeper car gets you sit down dinners and a private room with shared shower and bathrooms

Met a few nice people on the train, two going to East Glacier on a Amtrak getaway, and two heading for a getaway in Seattle.

Montana is full of fields and graveyards of abandon steel.
