I know, I know short day, but a great place to camp; last site available - ME!

Enough! The place is certainly pretty. Cool breeze flowing off the water. There are RV spots too, right on the water.
Sometimes miles count, but miles don't always lead to great views!
Real quick: I met Carol this morning in Sidney. She told me about her 10-month journey across Canada and down into the USA. From Maine to New Orleans and back to Canada. No not by bike, although she always wanted to do that, she traveled solo in a van and a small trailer.
Our stories were very similar - the challenging and the outstanding. We both agreed that the good out weighs the negative.
It was cool to chat, she was a great listener and I tried to return the favor. I gave her a patch / pin for her van.
I also met Karen who owns a disk Long Haul Trucker. She was Canadian and road over to Olympic, WA to checkout a possible tour there someday. We traded stories about biking, I gave her a patch and card. Nice meeting you Karen.
Well, had dinner - cookie and coffee - the took a stroll to the beach. The sunsets on the other side, but there is always beauty nearby you just have to look.
