Day 16 - Hope
Taking EBus to Hope the home base of Jamie Davis Towing - legend of the TV series if Highway Thru Hell. So cool to make it here and maybe see, in person, that bright red heavy rescue towing fleet.
Side Note: I heard today that Hwy 16 opened partially, but officials say that things could change at any time. Hwy 16 was part of my original route.
I'm glad I'm moving in the correct direction. I am hoping to add new destinations to the tour as I move forward.

Well, made it to Hope BC and immediately met Ein. Ein is the Chief of the Hope Fire Department, a proud Navy Vet. and the president of the Canadian Legion. Now he's the man to meet in any town.
Ein, who was picking up his 80th birthday cake for his tonight's surprise birthday party. Happy Birthday handshake was in order.
Well, the "Chief" shared his local knowledge about the town as we sat at the back of his illegally parked SUV.
Yes, he knows Jamie Davis. He said that he always had to get in Jamie for parking his big wreckers illegally. (Funny right!)
Anyway, he directed me to the Telte-Yet Campsite on the river for my overnight. Then, recommended the Canadian Legion for dinner.
Heck, what else is there, oh bike shop. Nope, right there, not open. The owner went north for the weekend
