Crockett to Nacogdoches
Today I was going to make it to Nacogdoches,Tx. I had a choice of two roads,Both looked good on google maps,One was recommended to me, the other I was on yesterday.I went with the recommended one. It was perfect except for about ten miles of almost no shoulder and fast moving traffic.I didn't ,so there's that not though.It was Hot with no wind,It made climbing a Hot sweat fest,I did the ice bag thing like yesterday.That's a game changer,but when the ice melts and place to refill that's when the hot really builds in the body.That's what happened I had to pull over in some shade for about forty five minutes drinking water and electrolytes.The sad part is I was only six miles to my destination.
My hosts got all straight with a nice meal,and a cold shower, then we walked to a little brewery about four blocks away.Early in the moning A storm came through,Lots of lightening and rain.
