Bossier City to Ruston
Make hills your favorite
The destination for today is Ruston.I decided not to ride on I- 20 instead I rode on US 80,I thought it would offer a more interesting ride.It did road is very pretty very green and lots of shade. The road surface varied greatly from chip seal over concrete then patched with asphalt, not good ,to smooth asphalt. There were lots of hills, who knew Louisiana had hills ,not me.It was overcast with a little rain, which kept things cool. About lunch time I pulled in to the little town of Gibsland .Not much there, but it was near there where Bonnie and Clyde met their demise. They have a museum,a cafe with all sorts of photos of the two dangerous criminals. The weird things you come across on a bike trip .
