Day 10: Ivan Oakes to Eugene

We got up and ate our oatmeal, packed up and began the trek to Eugene. It was cool and a little drizzly for awhile but it cleared off in a short time and we made our way through the towns of Lowell, Jasper, Springfield and to our Air BNB in Eugene on mostly low traffic roads.

You have to watch out for flying rocks. They are invasive to the Pacific Northwest and can do a lot of damage, especially if the wings get tangled up in your hair.

Our lodging for the night was in the Whiteaker neighborhood. We settled in, cleaned up and relaxed in the cottage. Later we walked around the neighborhood, which is full of pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. It's a funky, cool part of town.

We walked around the neighborhood and ate some food.
