Niagara Falls, Ontario to Williamsville, New York
Getting to Buffalo
We were concerned about heat today, but a good breeze and some cloud cover kept us from feeling uncomfortable. We rode up the Niagara River on the Canadian side, crossed back into New York State near Buffalo, the rode back north along the Niagara to go around Buffalo. We are staying near the airport, as one more person flew in here to join the group for the last ten days of the ride.

Here’s our last view of the Falls as we headed out of town.
We could see where we needed to go leaving US Customs, but it took a while to figure out how to get out.
Looking back at the Peace Bridge that we had just crossed.
We rode past a bike shop with a great mural and nice sign outside.
Nature is busy reclaiming the old turn bridge, now open and abandoned in a channel.
How could we not go in to Famous Doughnuts when it showed up right at the end of a bike trail. Sadly, they weren’t that good.
