Milwaukee to Muskegon, MI
Back in Eastern Daylight Time
Today’s ride was our shortest time on our bikes (not counting those rain day shuttles) but the most total miles traveled, as we crossed Lake Michigan on the Lake Express ferry.

Here’s a few more scenes from our Victorian mansion in Milwaukee.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame—who knew that one was coming—was only a block or so off our route to the ferry, so we detoured to investigate. I didn’t think I had time to check out the entire collection of approximately 10,000 bobbleheads, so I didn’t pay the entrance charge and just looked at the freebies in the lobby. I was happy to see Hank Aaron again.
We could look back at the Milwaukee skyline as we watched cars waiting to drive on to the ferry. We walked our bikes on and secured them before anyone else boarded.
A swan greeted us as we rode up a 2 mile trail from the ferry to the hotel.
With lake view rooms, we were treated to a nice sunset.
Today's ride: 10 miles (16 km)
Total: 377 miles (607 km)
