Imlay City to Port Huron
Looking to Canada
With another great tailwind, much better road conditions than yesterday, and no turns for the first 22 miles, we made good time on the first half of the ride. We slowed down to smell the roses, literally, as wild roses are very fragrant, on another nice trail. And once again, clouds gathered in the afternoon and watched it rain from the comfort of our hotel.

It’s always fun to watch goats, particularly when they try to climb trees.
We crossed an impressive trestle bridge on today’s trail, 60 feet high and 640 feet long. An old photograph of the bridge showed almost no trees around it, and today, we were riding through the canopies of the trees surrounding it.
Beavers have been at work in these wetlands.
The opposite side of the river is Canada. We will crossing the border on Tuesday.
Today's ride: 45 miles (72 km)
Total: 692 miles (1,114 km)
