We woke up to rain and 59 degrees, quite a change from the last few days.  The rain was forecast to end by noon, so we figured we’d be okay with a late start.  However, the winds were very gusty, and when two trash cans went tumbling across the street, we bagged it and piled in the van.  We are staying in two rental houses in the small town of Vernon, and Todd and Jill prepared a delicious pasta dinner.  Not the day we had planned, but a very pleasant ending.
