Me and the mozzies: The downside to Spring tours
Left Quairading around noon, faffing about trying to get a Telstra Sim card activated. Gave up in the end and headed off for Corrigin. What a fun, wet ride. The road was heading due SSE, tailwinds all the way. Had to hide from the squalls a couple of times, including an informative stop at the Rabbit Proof Fence info shed out in the middle of nowhere.

Great road: paved and with little traffic - keep an ear out for the road trains!
Wet camped about 20 km from Corrigin in the bush again. Just me and my mozzie friends. Too mozzied and wet outside for a fire, so it was a long night in the tent - gets old very quickly.
Wet and foggy morning. Packed up everything wet and a quick ride to Corrigin in the morning. Didn't take much to convince myself to get a room at the pub and dry everything out. Off again tomorrow, following back roads to Hyden. Staying off the Brookton hiway if I can - it's busy, narrow, and scary.
