A day as good as they come: truly quiet
Got started relatively early in the morning heading East down a back road out of Corrigin. It was a perfect day for riding - light tailwinds and rolling countryside with only 3 or 4 cars all day. Can't recommend a better place and time of year to be out pedalling (Bendering Road if you're interested). Actually any of the back roads out here are good for this type of ride. A good day for concentrating on the pedalling and breathing - "mindful pedalling". Good for laying bare and sorting out all those inner demons.

Just remember there are no services out here: no food, no water...
Now if there were only coffee shops every fifty km or so it would be perfect. I'd kill for a long black and a muffin. Probably won't see many of those til Adelaide.
Camped the night in the North Kalgarin Nature Reserve. Made camp around 3 pm. Had the whole place to myself, no mozzies!!
