Third Day of Riding
The third day began by enjoyably coasting for more than 10 miles (3000 feet of elevation decline) on the shoulder of I-8 down to the desert. Then riding another 40 miles through the desert on CA Hwy 98. Saw many U.S. border patrol vehicles. And occasional memorials to people who died (maybe in the desert after illegally crossing the border or maybe just a traffic accident).
