Tonight we're camping at an RV park near Marianna FL, the county seat of Jackson County FL.  Marianna has an attractive historic downtown area. 

Two miles south of downtown are the abandoned buildings of the former Dozier School for Boys, pictured below. I took a little detour to see the buildings, because they were the real-life setting for an award-winning novel, "The Nickel Boys" which was written by Colson Whitehead and which I recently read.
