Larry is 71 years old.  He was on the ill-fated 2020 "Coast-to-Covid" ride and has been on smaller Adventure Cycling Association guided rides along the Erie Canal and through the Texas Hill Country.  He's a retired mechanical engineer, having worked for Air Products Inc. in Pennsylvania for his entire career.  After retirement, he and his wife moved to The Woodlands (near Houston) to be close to their 2 daughters and 5 grandkids.

With Jane having departed our Coast-to-Coast group on day 4 (after her fall caused by the cattle guard), Larry is the only rider using an e-bike.  He bought the Rad Power Bike in 2019.  It has both pedal-assist (which he uses most often) and a throttle.  To ensure he can reach each day's destination using the motor, the bike has both a regular battery and an extender battery.
