Kathy is 65 and lives in Memphis. She's been married for 28 years. Her husband is an information-systems professor at Arkansas State University. She and her daughter own their own financial planning firm. She's been into biking for many years and has done a few week-long rides, such as Ragbrai (the famous annual ride across Iowa). Her husband enjoys biking, but not to the extent of a cross-country ride.
