Jim and his wife live in Daytona Beach FL.  They have 2 kids (1 in Fairbanks & 1 in Detroit). He's 61 and probably in the best physical shape of anyone in the group.  He considers himself more of a runner than a biker, having run about 30 marathons and 20 ultras (e.g., 100 mile or 24-hour runs). Retired recently from selling aviation and specialty-lines insurance. He's a fast rider, generally accompanying Tim.
