Catalina State Park
We're camping for 2 nights in Catalina State Park, a little northeast of Tucson. Our first layover day! Some riders are getting shuttled to an REI store in Tucson for needed items, such as sleeves for protecting arms from the sun.
The park is in a beautiful setting with great hiking trails and Mt. Lemmon in the background. No internet service in the park, so I biked to a Fry's Food & Drug with a Starbucks and good connectivity. After returning to camp for lunch (pizza), biked to Firetruck Brewery for a couple of beers and a Zoom call with Rozan, Shari, & Elissa & Nate.
Light rain and coyote howls during the second night woke me up in the tent.
