Casa Grande AZ
Tonight we're staying in tents at High Chaparral RV Park in Casa Grande AZ. Got a nice hot shower (unlike the cold one in the Gila Bend high school gymnasium).
The City of Casa Grande was named after the nearby Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, which is a group of Hohokam (native American) structures dating back to at least 1450 A.D. The largest structure on the site ("casa grande" or "big house") was 4 stories tall. No photo of the ruins, because we didn't bike to them.
