Black Vultures
In the last 2 weeks, we've seen many vultures, which feed on carrion. I thought they were turkey vultures, but a reader has corrected me to say they are black vultures. Here are a bunch I saw today, working on a deer carcass by the side of the road.

Bill ShaneyfeltYup, vultures. These are black vultures. Very similar to turkey vultures, which have red heads.
