Arizona Border
We crossed from CA to AZ on the Ocean to Ocean Bridge, a one-lane bridge built in 1915 over the Colorado River and so-named because it was the last link in the transcontinental Ocean to Ocean Highway. During the Great Depression in the 1930s, California police prevented many Oklahoma dust-bowl refugees from crossing the bridge into California. Wish I had seen a "Welcome to Arizona" sign...
