On March 4th (three months before departure), I sent a cheery email to everyone. I had a photo response from Jorge - he was out for a ride at home in Florida. I went out for a ride here in Colorado. The differences were stark.

Riding in Colorado in a very mild March. Notice the lack of snow. Temperatures were a balmy 50ish. Crazy warm for this time of year.

Marty went to Moab in March to get a jump on his training.

Joe spent some of his sunny Florida March building a shipping box for his bike. He followed John Meiner's article here on CG.

Jacinto has been outstanding at cycling this winter. Usually he refuses to get on the bike until it is 70 degrees. Here he is in March with only one layer of clothes!

I'm not sure if Steve went bicycling in March - but he did go skiing!
