In La Petite Pierre.

Again I woke up early and got myself out the door to see what I could find around the charming village of La Petite Pierre.  If you're ever through the Northern Vosges, this is a must stop.

Our hotel. If you stay here, stay in room 501. Although it's a little dated, the view is outstanding from the balcony.

Early morning in the Northern Vosges. France. Just to be clear this is not the view from the balcony. The view from the balcony is better.

I walked to the upper part of town towards the castle.  This part of town is contained within old fortified walls.

Upper La Petite Pierre.

Looking back towards the lower town where we stayed. In fact, you can see our hotel. It's the flat white building on the lower left surrounded by three older ones.

Patrick O'HaraTo Rachael AndersonI have to get out and see the sights when I can since we're only spending one night here. Plus, like you, I love my walks.
