The ferry uses a wire rope either side of the boat to pull across the river.

I only have a short day today so I stopped at a cafe for second breakfast.

A flat section of the road. The second half of the day was a little undulating.

The vegetation was mostly dry sheep grazing land.

There were few trees so this raven made it's nest in a short tree. It was sitting on the nest when I first saw it and then flew to the branch in the top left.

This is Meningie's pink lake. Sometimes it is pink. Today it looked like a regular lake colour. Perhaps because of the clouds.

I made it to town.

And saw pelicans. The 1976 movie Storm Boy was filmed near here. It featured a pelican called Mr Percival.

I went to the museum opposite the caravan park.

Cheryl IvesHello Vince, our family had one as well and no, we didn't use it on our dogs. Would be interesting to find out why the company used such an image 😊

This amused me as it has a picture of a fly on a dog's tail. Does this mean you're meant to spray the dog?

And a water trough carved from a wooden log. It must have taken a long time to make.

Vince McCarthyI googled your corn bears. They sound way more dangerous than our drops bears.
