We both felt unwell in the morning. Not sure what it was exactly, maybe the large volume of wine drunk in quick succession, topped off with cognac. It didn’t feel like a hangover, I had no headache, but I did spend some time with my head hangover of the toilet bowl.

The guesthouse was full that night so we found another one down the road. After checking in around 12 in the afternoon, I slept until around 6am following day, feeling rejuvenated. MayLyn managed to pop out to the shop to buy some bread which I was very grateful for.
