Peja to Sarajevo via Pljevlja, 3/X; 20th October
20th October
The day from Bijelo Polje to Pljevlja was on further quiet roads and more rolling hills, autumn colours, valleys and an abandoned puppy.
The puppy was just by the side of the road about 10km from Bijelo Polje, and as we stopped it soon started shivering -- indicating it had been left there a few mins earlier. There was a fountain nearby that people stopped at to fill up with water, about a car a minute -- we asked a few of them what could be done with the puppy, and most seemed uninterested -- one guy who spoke good English explained that this was a common spot for people to abandon their unwanted dogs.
We found some insulation in a skip and left the puppy on there, covered in some cardboard, with some oats as food -- MayLyn donated her buff bought in Bulgaria for some warmth too. Hopefully due to the fact that people would see it when stopping for water, someone would decide to help it.

Rest of the day was less uneventful, some uphill, some downhill.
