Went for a walk up the mountaıns with Karsten, Lena and Mark, and met the guy who lıves up there maintaining the telecoms tower and had a chat. He saıd ıt gets brutally cold ın wınter

At the bottom of the hill, we visited a small grocery store where they sold Kyrgyz wine

Marieke and Steven also rolled into the hostel that night. We had initially met them in Samarkand, but they had to wait (like us) for their visa approval. They cycled the Bartang valley in Tajikistan.
